Mark your calendars! Grant writing workshop, 

June 20-21, 9-4 pm

Dr. Katie Linder, Research Director for Ecampus, Oregon State University will partner with the Office for Research Development to facilitate a grant writing workshop for up to 50 participants. RSVP to Susan Emerson (Susan.Emerson@oregonstate.edu).

Workshop participants will:

  • explore current strengths and challenges for grant writing from individual, unit, and institutional perspectives
  • generate ideas for possible proposals that align with their professional interests and unit missions
  •  learn about a range of current grant funding mechanisms and programs that might be a good fit for proposal submission;
  • practice writing elements of grants proposals such as abstracts, narratives, budgets, and budget narratives; and reflect on the components needed to build strong grant writing teams.
