For certain programs, sponsors allow only a limited number of applications per institution. Typically, there will be an open call to OSU faculty for expressions of interest for these limited submission opportunities. The Vice President for Research is the decision-making authority for determining which applications move forward for consideration.

Internal submission deadlines are determined by the Office for Research Development. To allow enough lead time to develop a proposal, generally the internal deadline is set six weeks prior to the letter of intent date, or eight weeks prior to the submission deadline—whichever comes first. A firm internal deadline date will be posted below as programs become known.  The six - eight week schedule that includes campus wide notification of the opportunities, allows time for review committees, and proposal development.

Note: Due to the number of programs, it is not possible to provide an all-inclusive list. Pre-award questions not addressed or opportunities not listed may be directed to the Office for Research Development –

Listed here are some of the solicitations for which OSU selects representatives. Faculty are welcome to identify such opportunities from these or any sources; Email the  Office of Research Development before proceeding with submissions -
