A research COI disclosure refers to the description of a person's financial interests which is submitted to OSU's Research COI Program for review and determination. OSU's research COI disclosure form is designed to gather necessary information about relevant financial interests to help determine whether actual or potential conflicts of interest exist, and ;must be completed and updated as necessary by all "covered persons" affiliated with OSU. When potential or actual conflicts of interest exist, the disclosure and disclosure updates also function as a conflict management tool.

Research COI disclosures are submitted and updated online in iRIS.
