iRIS is OSU’s electronic research administration system. All Conflict of Interest disclosures, and submissions to the Human Research Protection Program and IRB and the Animal Program office and IACUC, are submitted through iRIS.

Log in to iRIS

Annual Conflict of Interest disclosures must be submitted by all professorial faculty, research associates, and post-doctoral scholars/fellows. More information and guidance can be found on the RCOI Program website.

Getting Started

  • Login to iRIS using your ONID credentials at https://oregonstate.imedris.net
  • Go to My Profile >> My account
  • Confirm the accuracy of your training history
  • Complete and submit the Annual Disclosure Form

The HRPP Application enables users to submit the following:

  • requests for oversight determinations
  • .118 determinations for federal funding agencies
  • requests for OSU to cede oversight to an external IRB
  • new applications for review.

We encourage new users to request a training session or advising. More information and guidance can be found on the Human Research Protection Program website.

Getting Started

  • Login to iRIS using your ONID credentials at https://oregonstate.imedris.net

The IACUC module of iRIS, an online research administration system, is now available for use. This system replaces the use of Word document files for the submission of new protocols and associated amendments, annual reports, incident reports, and exemption requests.

How do I log in to iRIS?

Log in to iRIS using your ONID credentials at https://oregonstate.imedris.net

If you are unable to log in, contact the OSU Help Desk by creating a support ticket or calling 7-8787. You will receive assistance within 24 hours.

How do I request access to forms in iRIS?

Professorial faculty, research associates, post-doctoral scholars/fellows, and some others will automatically have access to the RCOI form.

All faculty, staff, and students have access to the HRPP/IRB application.

If you can log in to iRIS but do not have access to the form that you are looking for, request access using this form: Request iRIS Access Form

Why isn't my CITI training showing up in iRIS?

If you do not see your training records or they are inaccurate, log in to your existing CITI training registration and ensure that your email addresses accurately reflect your OSU affiliation in both the primary and institutional address fields.

  • Employees must use first.last@oregonstate.edu
  • Students must use their ONID email address

Use of other OSU email variations or personal email addresses will prevent your training records from appearing in iRIS and prevent you from submitting new applications.

How do I transfer my old forms into iRIS?

All COI disclosures are now in iRIS.

Studies approved by the IRB before January 21, 2019 will not be transferred into iRIS.
