The Human Research Protection Program is suspending the option for in-office protocol review and approval while we evaluate the utility and feasibility of continuing this initiative.
Program staff will continue to provide advising and guidance to researchers who are preparing initial applications, modifying existing submissions, or drafting responses to stipulations from reviewers. We encourage researchers to schedule a meeting as early on in the application process as possible, but we will gladly provide support at any point during the lifecycle of a study.
We will not review documents before these meetings. Please come prepared to ask questions and discuss your study plan. We encourage you to bring your submission materials with you so that you have the option of incorporating elements of the discussion into your protocol or related documents during the meeting. For a 30-minute appointment, please complete and submit a Meeting Request Form.
ORI Kids’ Corner
Researchers with IRB-related appointments on Bring Your Kids to Campus Day, or any other day, should feel free to bring their kids with them. We have a kids' corner in the Office of Research Integrity. Faculty and students with kids in tow need not miss out on in-office resources offered by the Human Research Protection Program.
