Jennifer Creighton is the Fiscal Director for Research.  In her role, she is responsible for administrative guidance, operational execution and oversight of the Research Office’s fiscal functions.  She and her team provide administrative, technical, fiscal, and human resources support for the Vice President for Research, the Research leadership team, and Centers & Institutes leadership on issues pertaining to budget planning, policy administration and business operations.

She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting with minors in Economics, Political Science, and Planning, Public, Policy and Management from the University of Oregon. In addition, she received her Master’s in Public Administration with a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Oregon. Jennifer is LEAN Certified.

Jennifer has been working in higher education for over 20 years in various roles including operations, accounting, budget and finance. Prior to joining Oregon State University, she worked for the University of Oregon for 12 years.  She has a passion for continuous learning, employee development, and being a steward of university resources.  Jennifer also teaches Budget and Finances classes, which is both on campus and E-Campus within the College of Liberal Arts, College Student Services Administration Master’s program.  Jennifer is passionate about student learning and getting a chance to give back to the university community.
