LIMITATIONS ON SUBMISSIONS: 2 per organization

  • No more than two proposals across both tracks may be submitted by any Lead institution.

Prepare the following information to enter in the attached InfoReady form:

  • Project Summary: 3 or 4 sentences or bullet points that provide an overview of the objective(s) of your proposed project, how you plan to do it, and the expected outcome.
  • Team: 5 or 6 sentences or bullet points that highlight team expertise as it relates to the project.
  • Budget: Example: The total cost of the project is anticipated to be $ X, with $ Y being requested from the Agency. Agency funds will be used for: $ A for personnel; $ B for operations, and $ C for broader impacts/subcontracts etc.

Problem statement: Clear and concise statement of

  • Research question(s) and how the project will address the research question(s);
  • What is the vision of the future Center to advance innovative and transformative research that is ambitious in scope?
  • How will the Center develop community engagement activities that train the next generation of researchers and have potential for broadening participation of underrepresented groups?
  • Describe how the Center will be managed, including the leadership structure of the Center, how decisions will be made, the roles of any internal committees, and the role of partnerships in the center.
  • How will shared facilities, infrastructure, and cyberinfrastructure be developed and managed using modern standards and for use by the broader community?
  • Abbreviated CV or biographical sketch of the principal investigator – separate page
  • Optional - Suggest one or two names to serve on the internal review committee.
