DOE NATIONAL LABORATORY PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER: LAB 21-2491
Brief Summary: The DOE SC programs in Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR), Basic Energy Sciences (BES), Fusion Energy Sciences (FES), High Energy Physics (HEP), and Nuclear Physics (NP) hereby announce their interest in multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary proposals for basic research to enable transformative innovation in microelectronic technologies for computing, communication, sensing, and power.
LIMITATIONS ON SUBMISSIONS: 2

Applicant institutions are limited to no more than 2 letters of intent and 2 proposals as the lead institution.

Letters of intent must include the signature from the National Laboratory Director. All letters of intent from one institution must be signed by the same person.

Proposals in excess of the limited number of submissions may be declined without review. •

There is no limitation to the number of proposals on which an institution appears as a partner (not the lead institution).

Key PI/co-PIs: 5 or 6 sentences or bullet points that highlight team expertise as it relates to the project.

Budget: Example: The total cost of the project is anticipated to be $ X, with $ Y being requested from the Agency. Agency funds will be used for: $ A for personnel; $ B for operations, and $ C for broader impacts/subcontracts etc.
