Overview
The R/V Whaler is a 19’ Boston Whaler - Guardian used for research and training in Oregon’s inland waters. This boat was donated to OSU in 2017 through the OSU Foundation. The generous donor has asked to remain anonymous.
Project Highlights:
The Whaler has been used in Motorboat Operator Training Courses up and down the Oregon coast. For several years the boat was assigned to OSU Ship Operations before making its way to the Small Boat Program’s centralized fleet.
