The Office of Research Integrity is committed to collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to address concerns about the conduct and administration of OSU research. All concerns will be taken seriously and consideration will be given to any suggestions for improvements. Resolving issues in a collegial and respectful manner is essential to the overall process. Mechanisms for connecting with the appropriate individuals or offices are described below. Your feedback is encouraged and appreciated.

What would you like to do?

Every member of ORI is prepared to assist you but please begin by contacting the Unit Lead if you have concerns about a study or wish to report a safety or welfare matter related to human or animal subjects involved in OSU research. 

Use this form to report a near-miss, accident, or exposure to EH&S.

Use this form to report workplace environmental health or safety concerns, to request a consultation, or to ask specific EH&S questions.

Contact the Research Integrity Officer (RIO) to report fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results.

If you wish to appeal a formal decision issued by an ORI committee, contact the Unit Lead for that office or the Chair of the committee.

Complete the ORI Feedback Form if you have comments or suggestions for the Human Research Protection Program, Animal Program Office, Research Conflict of Interest Program, Scientific Diving and Small Boat Safety Programs, Program for Responsible Research Practices, Export Control and International Compliance, or the Institutional Biosafety Office.

Contact the relevant Unit Lead with concerns or complaints about a policy, procedure, or committee or staff review process.
