I investigate the origin of magmatic-hydrothermal mineral deposits that are the source of most of the world's mined copper, molybdenum, rhenium and important source of gold, silver, zinc, and lead.  I study the igneous processes of ore-forming magmas, and the hydrothermal veins and altered wall-rocks that host ore using petrology, geochemistry and filed geology technique.
