Belinda Batten – Air Force Office of Scientific Research
Belinda Batten serves as the Executive Associate Dean of the College of Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU). Prior to her current role, she was director of the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center. She served as the head of Mechanical Engineering at OSU from 2003 to 2007, and of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from 2007 until 2011.
Roberta Marinelli – National Science Foundation
Roberta Marinelli is the Dean of the College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at OSU. A biological oceanographer by training, she was continuously funded by the National Science Foundation, and also received funding from NOAA and ONR, at the University of Southern California, the University of Maryland and the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. Over an 8 year period, she served twice (IPA, Permanent) as a program director in the Antarctic Sciences Division at the National Science Foundation. During that time, participated in numerous cross-directorate activities involving interdisciplinary science.
Douglas Keszler - Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry
Intro: Doug Keszler is Associate Dean for Research in the College of Science and Distinguished Professor of Chemistry. He also serves as Chief Scientist at Inpria Corp., an OSU spin-out. During the past 25 years, he has continuously participated in science and engineering centers funded by NSF, DoD, DoE, and industry. He is currently the Director of the NSF Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry.
Aaron Shonk - Senior Director of Foundation Relations - Aaron Shonk is the Senior Director of Foundation Relations at the Oregon State University Foundation. In his role, Aaron and his team assist faculty, colleges, and the university with proposals, support, and prospect research. Aaron has been involved in proposal development and writing for nearly two decades. Besides his work with private foundations, he has experience with several federal agencies.
