What type of RELMS user account do I need?
Internal users are defined as those individuals having a valid OSU ONID account and paying via a valid OSU index. Paying via an OSU index indicates the business transaction is a necessary, reasonable, and appropriate business expense for the university. Internal users are charged OSU internal rates.
External users are defined as individuals that may or may not have an valid OSU ONID account, but the business transaction cannot be classified as a business expense for the university. These individuals are set up with an external RELMS account tied to a non-OSU email. They pay via external means (check, ACH, wire, credit card) and are charged external rates.
