There is no currently planned maintenance that will result in a system outage. This page will be updated as maintenance is scheduled.

The HRPP Application enables users to submit the following:

  1. requests for oversight determinations
  2. .118 determinations for federal funding agencies
  3. requests for OSU to cede oversight to an external IRB
  4. new applications for review.

We encourage new users to request a training session or advising. More information and guidance can be found on the Human Research Protection Program website.

  1. Login to iRIS using your ONID credentials

Why isn't my CITI training showing up in iRIS?

If you do not see your training records or they are inaccurate, log in to your existing CITI training registration and ensure that your email addresses accurately reflect your OSU affiliation in both the primary and institutional address fields.

  • Employees must use
  • Students must use their ONID email address

Use of other OSU email variations or personal email addresses will prevent your training records from appearing in iRIS and prevent you from submitting new applications.

How do I transfer my old forms into iRIS?

All COI disclosures are now in iRIS.

Studies approved by the IRB before January 21, 2019 will not be transferred into iRIS.
