OSRAA Proposals Team

The OSRAA Proposals Team works with PIs, department/college research administration staff (CARE team), and other units within the Division of Research & Innovation (DRI) to facilitate on-time and compliant proposal submissions to external sponsors (federal, state, and private). The electronic research administration system used at OSU to facilitate internal proposal routing, approval, and record-keeping is the Beaver Research Hub.

Our team is primarily responsible for:

Guiding PIs on internal and sponsor pre-award policies and procedures
Compliance review, feedback, and approval for all sponsored project proposals
Serving as delegated Authorized Organizational Representatives (AORs) or Signing Officials (SOs) for pre-award documents (e.g., institutional letters, federal forms, cover sheets, institutional certifications, and subrecipient forms)
Submitting proposals on behalf of OSU through email or sponsor portals
Reviewing and submitting letters of intent (LOIs) and pre-applications when AOR authorization or submission is required
Reviewing and submitting post-submission (but pre-award) items such as Just in Time (JIT) documents, budget revisions, current and pending support updates, and representation and certification documents
